WEEK 78: Progress
This week was a busy work week. We were always running about. I forget a lot of things that need to be done until it gets almost too late and it stresses me out a bit sometimes, but I am working on it. I am trying to be a more effective planner to make sure I don't forget as often. I was able to be present at a really spiritual district
Council. That is a meeting we have as missionaries where we discuss together ways that we can improve and ways that we can increase our abilities and confidence in sharing the truth we have cherished.
Anyways, at his meeting, the question was posed, "what things have motivated you to change?" That question gives some really good insights. I feel like I myself have been motivated to change as I see my failures. As I realize too late the chances I miss to help someone it makes me want to be better next time. On that note, I'm so grateful for Christ suffering in my behalf so that I can have a next time. So that as I look at those failed opportunities that I am given, I don't have to live with the feelings of guilt. Every week at church I feel
refreshed, forgiven, and renewed in my desire to follow Christ. The sacrament (bread and water) is the key for me to finding this respite.
I think back a lot on the quote, "I have wept in the night for the shortness of sight, that to somebody's need made me blind, but I never have yet felt a tinge of regret for being a little too kind." How true that is. Let us all go out of our way this week to be a little kinder. To not miss a chance. You just might change the course of someone's
life.
Love you all,
Elder Pace
WEEK 77: Patience
This week the Lord has been teaching me more patience. I struggle to have patience when I clearly see how believing in God can help someone and they openly reject it out of laziness. When people say that they
won't try it because they are so sure it won't help it makes me sad and upset. I am tying to become more like Christ and allow them to make their choices even though it may upset me.
Our friend Jemima should be getting baptised on Friday with her two lads

WEEK 76: New Year
We didn't get a general email this week so here is his quick response to me:
I would love to serve with Tanner! That would be so cool. His mission picture looks great. He will be a solid missionary. I don't think he will go stateside. He feels like a foreign missionary.
I really hope these last 6 months don't fly by. I really love being a missionary. I feel like I am learning lots and making steps forward. I am learning to love people more and I don't want it to be over
P day is long today because of new year
Love you,
Elder Pace
Here is his response to Annaka:
🐨🐳🐟🐽🐃🐇💫🐑🌙💥🌵⭐️🌵🌵🌵 I have baptised a few people on my mission. My company on is Elder Barber from Utah. For Christmas, I got lots of food. It was pretty good. For new year, I am going to always
ask God a question in my prayer before reading the Book of Mormon. I think you are really good at being nice to people! You were always so kind.
Love you Sis,
Elder Pace

WEEK 75: Christmas!
![]() |

We didn't get a letter today because we got to talk with Tyson through Skype! He looked great and sounded great and it was wonderful to have our whole family together. We got to talk for an hour but it's hard to remember what all we talked about. He did talk about Bradford, the area he is still in, and how it is mostly Muslim. It's difficult to have much success there since they have set prayers they are required to say and they don't believe they can pray about anything else so they are not usually willing to pray about the Book of Mormon or the church. They also have cultural backlash if they do show interest in the Church.

WEEK 74: Christmas is Coming!
I am still in Bradford. We had another transfer and my new companion is called Elder Barber. He is a good guy and he is from Park City Utah.
Things are going smoothly over here. We got in contact with a cool Slovak family that wants to be baptized. The mom is already baptized but her kids aren't. We also met a family from Ghana that went to the church in London while they were living there.
I love the ward and I'm so excited for Christmas. This time of year is the best to be here serving. You feel so close to Christ and everyone is happier. I know He loves us. I know He gave His life for us. I want so bad to love people with even a fraction of the love He has for us.
Merry Christmas!
